How Recipients Receive SMS Messages

Calc+ Vault allows registered users to send end-to-end encrypted messages to any phone number. When a sender composes a message and manually enters a recipient's phone number inside the app, a single SMS notification is delivered containing a one-time secure link.

Opt-In Method — Web Form (Primary)

Recipients can proactively opt in to receive secure message notifications via the form at cloudstrategy.ai/join. The form collects the recipient's phone number and an explicit consent checkbox before submitting:

Upon submission, a confirmation SMS is sent immediately and the opt-in is recorded in a timestamped audit log with IP address.

Opt-In Method — Consent Gate (Secondary)

When a recipient opens a secure message link for the first time, a consent gate appears before any message content is decrypted or displayed. The gate requires an explicit tap to proceed:

No message content is revealed without this affirmative action. The consent gate is shown on every new message link received.

Opt-Out Instructions

Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from this number. No additional messages will be sent after an opt-out is received. Recipients can reply HELP for support contact information.

• Opt-outs are honoured immediately — no further messages sent

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. Recipients only receive an SMS when a registered Calc+ Vault user explicitly sends them a secure message. There are no scheduled, automated, or recurring messages. Most recipients receive fewer than 3 messages per month.
